March Newsletter

My newsletter for March is now available. If you did not receive it and would like to just let me know and I'll send it to you.

Butterfly Wings

Here is a quick card I made using March's Stamp of the Month (Butterfly Wings) and the Creative Basics - Emporium Paper. This is also the stamp set and paper we will be using for the card class on March 25.

Key to My Heart Layouts

Both of these layouts used the Key to my Heart paper pack that was available in January. I found the layouts in Jeanette Lyntons' Reflections book.

Easter Eggs

Here's a 3 x 3 card I made using February's Stamp of the Month. Remember it's only available until this Saturday. I was very busy this past weekend creating pages and cards, I'm hoping to post one new picture per day this week to show you some of my new stuff.

I've added some more links to other people's blogs. Check them out for some more great ideas.

The Key to Good Times

A few cards I made last night using the Key to My Heart paper (which was available in January) and the Good Times Stamp set (available only this month). I have found it challenging to use the Key to My Heart paper because it's not one that I think I would normally use, but I'm hoping to try a couple of layouts using it later this evening.

Hey There Cupcake

I created this card last week at Wendy's house. I was also introduced to 2 techniques that I had never tried before. The top of the cupcake uses CTMH's Liquid Applique and the bottom uses embossing powder. I love how the cupcake turned out - there are sparkles on the "icing". All products used are Close to My Heart.

Products used: Key to My Heart Paper Set, Cupcake Sprinkles Stamp Set, Juniper Ink, Sorbet Ink (under the icing), Liquid Applique, Clear embossing powder, gold photo hook, gold brads.

Unforgettable Cards...

Here are the cards that the Unforgettable WOTG gives as a suggestion to make. The one on the left is 3 x 3, the one in the middle is 4.75 x 3, and the one on the right is 5.5 x 4.25. They were easy to make out of the left over "scraps" from the 6 layouts also shown in the guide. AND I still have full sheets of paper left over to make more layouts or more cards.

My take on the Unforgettable Workshop

I finally had a chance to take pictures of the 2 additional layouts from the Unforgettable workshop. I really enjoyed making these and was surprised at how my pictures look with them. I was afraid that the top one would be too "girly", but it actually works ok with my boy pictures. I haven't made the cards yet but will post when I do.

I can't wait to make the Daydream Workshop on the Go. I think that one will be rally challenging to make my pictures fit with, but it's a challenge I'm up for. :)
