Mischief

My package arrived yesterday with my new products from Close to my Heart's new idea book.  I didn't get a chance to actually use any of them last night, but I did take a picture of the products in the Mischief Workshop on the Go.  I love the new felt shapes!!

Sorry for the flash on the stamp set.

Don't forget that Sunday is the last day to order from the current Idea Book - not all of the products will carry over to the new one.  If you have any questions, or need a reminder of what is retiring, just let me know.

Be sure to check back later as I post more new products.

Working on Upcoming Events

While I'm working on my upcoming Idea Book Launch party I may not be posting a whole lot of creations.  I thought I'd take the time to go through some of the stamp sets that I don't tend to use anymore as well as the paper I have lying around and offer them at my Launch Party.  So I'm sure I'll be working on getting those "inventoried" - is that a word??

I"m also anxiously awaiting the new products from the new idea Book that I ordered.  As soon as I have time to play with it I will post my creations.

Don't forget to stop by either here or my website over the next few days as I post my workshops for the fall - workshop on the go's, Halloween treats, Christmas Cards, place setting treats and more!

Happy Creating!

Not Quite....Almost

I think it's been a few weeks since I shared one of my kids "cute" stories.  So here it goes .....

Monkey was lounging in bed with me the other morning.  And as much as I was enjoying our time together, I knew we were hitting the "sweet spot" where we had to wake Princess up and start getting everyone fed and dressed so we could leave the house on time.  So I asked Monkey if he was ready to go down for break fast yet.  His reply:  "Uh, not quite yet.  But almost Mommy."  Once I finished chuckling at his comment I said, "You know you are just too darned cute sometimes."  His response:  "Yeah.  I know."  (Good thing he's modest too!)

Gear Up to Party

This is the invitation I made for Monkey's birthday.  I had originally wanted to do a farm invitation to go with the theme of the party, but of course I don't have Close to My Heart's "HOWDY" set yet.  So I had to rethink my idea and came up with this:

Supplies used(all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Pattern: Geometric from Wishes
Paper: Tinkerin' (retired)
Stamps: Gear Up
Ink: Twilight, Tulip, Clover Meadow (retired)
Embellishments: Red Buttons
